Dale Raphael Goldberg

I began working as a filmmaker when I was 17 years old. I started humbly, borrowing a camera from my high school mass media department to make commercials for small business owners in my community (this was before iPhones). It didn’t take long for my hobby to blossom into an obsession.

While getting my undergraduate degree in Marketing and Advertising, I spent six years coaching professional filmmakers and editors at Apple. After leaving to pursue my own filmmaking career full-time, I earned a Graduate Certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA and started working as a professional editor on commercials and short films.

Working for other directors gave me a first-hand look at what the filmmaking process looked like in a professional environment and by 2016 I graduated to directing commercials and branded content for agencies, corporations, and production companies while continuing to freelance as a professional editor.

I have been humbled to work with international brands like Microsoft, Meta, and many others as well as teaching editing theory and techniques for university students and private consulting clients. I love working with goal oriented commercial clients and am always excited to work on documentaries or fictional narratives that allow me to tell interesting stories and ask big questions.

In my free time, I love hiking, playing strategy games like chess and Warhammer 40k with my family and friends, and photography. I currently reside in the greater Atlanta area with my wife and two children and can be hired for remote or travel assignments.
