SYNOPSIS:

Samantha and Brett are expecting. At five months, Samantha strives to be the perfect mom, nesting in her upscale condo. But all her hopes and dreams are crushed when she gives birth prematurely to a giant cockroach. Brett never sees the "baby." He thinks she had a miscarriage and is in denial. Ultimately, he can’t take it, and Samantha kicks him out. Samantha desperately tries to love “Henry,” her insect offspring and fights her impulse to kill it. Eventually, one night, Samantha decides it is too much, and kills herself by jumping off her balcony. Henry realizes what his mother has done, and scuttles after her down into the city below.
