About Silvia

Born and raised in Brazil, Silvia Luz is a former lawyer who decided to give it all up to pursue her dream of becoming a filmmaker. Now, ten years later, Silvia has a Masters of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking. She is a teacher at the San Diego Grossmont College and a Film Director who has recently been nominated for best director at the San Diego Film Awards with her short film Breaking Through.
