Jay Hargrove: Director, filmmaker and producer in Dillon, South Carolina.

Casting around my area has been difficult. Ive decided to expand my horizons. I have an actor out of state interested (keep in mind I'm trying to keep the budget very low) whom has more pull socially. I feel uncomfortable to ask for her to maybe become a producer as well being that the film is in a development hell (mostly on hollow promises and sometimes narrow mindedness). I dont know. Maybe its me wanting to stay in a comfort zone

As I wrote a script to my film, I made an Asian female character. The film from the start was gonna be very low budget and local... but guess what? I think I may have offended almost everyone I asked :). Finding someone to be a part of this is hard within itself, especially one not busy. Don't want to offend anyone though...

This would be my first time on here and wanna give a big hi first off. Filmmaker putting a comedy movie together about a movie rental store. I welcome insight, dropping in on the "party" and everything in between

Hi everyone my name is Philip and I am a video production student living in Maine. I have lived in Maine my whole life and I have always had a love for telling/writing stories I wrote a full length screenplay years ago to see if I could and I guess I did pretty well for a first timer because I entered it into the Page International Screenplay Contest and it went all the way to the third round, I didn't win anything but I was very happy with how well I did. I am currently producing a web-series with two friends of mine which will be up on youtube sometime this September which is both exciting and terrifying for me and I really hope people like it since we've spent so much time and energy on it. My goal is become a screenwriter/producer one day and I'm here to network and make connections with as many people as I can

Hi everyone, my name is Ricardo and I'm a film student and I'm looking forward to meet great people here. Through the years of my studies I've been getting to know a lot about the whole industry, but I must say a few weeks ago I finally discover my passion: tv script writing. I'll love to find/meet people that will help me understand the immeasurable world of script writing. I have tons of favourite show such as: Criminal Minds, Teen Wolf (huge fan of Jeff Davis), The Walking Dead (I like more the show than the comic: I think Daryl Dixon's arc is superb), the heroes sagas: Arrow, The Flash...but I may add that really into crime/mystery projects: somehow I'm fascinated by serial killers, mental abilities and apocalyptic scenarios. Nevertheless, I'm here to learn from everyone and I hope to be as helpful as I can be to anybody that would like to collab or chat about anything. Thanks for reading
