I am an unscripted theatre specialist, and Artistic Director of Australia's annual international festival of improvisation, "Improvention", www.improvention.com , which attracts performers from all of the globe for 8 intense days/nights of 50 workshops/ 5 convention sessions/35 performances/ 8 networking events.
I am also a teacher of improvisational theatre, and Artistic Director Canberra theatre company "Impro ACT", www.impro.com.au , which holds classes at all levels and produces seasons of performances throughout the year.
I use improvisational theatre techniques to train people from all walks of life in workplace or life skills, including executives, sportspeople, corporate services, public servants, people with health or social challenges.
I have recently had opportunities to apply the above skills to film, as an assistant director, especially working with larger groups of talent.
I am a professional actor and director in both scripted and unscripted live theatre, and whilst I have appeared in many on-screen roles over the decades, I have only recently developed an interest in purring this further.
I have worked in most sectors of the performing arts, in past years.
