I have written, produced and directed original works for stage and screen. Projects include the original film "Out of State: A Gothic Romance," written with the late Charles Bugbee. We are in development and hope to be in production in fall 2015.
As Special Projects Producer at B Productions of New York, I produced videos for commercials, special events, Satellite Media Tours, and TV specials. Clients included Oscar de la Renta, Betsey Johnson, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, CFDA, The Red Dress - Heart Truth, Conde Nast's Vogue, Glamour, GQ and Brides, Hearst's Elle and Premiere, CBS's 48 Hours, E!Style, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, MAC+Milk Fashion Week, MATRIX, Burt's Bees, COTY and many more.
My award winning plays are audience interactive and have been staged in a laundromat, furniture store window, gallery storefront and an auto body shop. I received a commission from Creative Time/Lincoln Center Out of Door to write, produce and direct "A Surreal Soap Opera - Toxic Waste Meets Beach Resort." "The Gas Station Project" workshopped at The Actors Lab at CBS "Guiding Light," was staged at OverSeas Auto Body Shop in Hastings on Hudson. I received a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship to turn a one act play into the full length musical "Life and Death With Business In Between." Music is by my long time collaborator Joe Deihl and I penned the book and lyrics. We staged the first act in an East Village Furniture Store window and the audience sat on the street. "Boxer Short" staged in 10th Street Laundromat in Atlanta featured an Auction of Great American Boxer Laundry Items. "The Vacation - Worlds of Desperation" was staged in an urban parking lot. "Murder at Le Pavillion" based on the short story by David Lee was staged in the windows of The Javo Gallery in downtown Atlanta.
Feature articles on film and video have appeared in American Cinematographer, Backstage, Shoot, Millimeter, Computer Pictures, Videography and the Paris based publication "Sequence."
