About Jeremy

Content development starts with a story. So let me tell you mine.

At the age of 13 I attended puppetry camp in Michigan. That sparked an interest in storytelling, although the medium was rarely puppets as time went on. Instead, it was radio (and music), television and now video.

In college, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications, worked as a college disc jockey and owned a mobile DJ service. After college, I gained experience in theatrical lighting and stage construction while working for an A/V service. I worked in broadcasting as a production assistant for a local news station, and as a camera operator for the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

From this experience, I discovered I really enjoy the content creation process, (story development, writing and scripting). You will find I can write, shoot, edit and produce projects (including multi-camera, studio and remote directing). As an avid student of movies of all genres, I’ve gained a deep understanding of pacing and intrigue, and how it relates to the storytelling process.

Currently, I work as a Special Projects Manager for SCOLA© Language Education Television, a nonprofit organization that re-transmits educational television programming from around the world.

I foster strong technical, leadership, and administrative skills – including a lot of hard-won experience gained through my volunteer work (which also encompassed public relations and volunteer recruitment/management).

My versatility is my strongest asset, but there’s still a lot of my story that’s yet to be written. I’m ready to start the next chapter. I’d like to connect with you, so contact me at 712-527-2792 or jeremywrodman@
