Lana Young was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. In her early teens she moved to Finland where her mother still currently resides. At the early age of 5, Lana began her career as a runway model in her hometown of St. Petersburg. Year after year, she tenaciously stayed on course in the pursuit of this career. By age 15, not only was she herself performing as a runway model for couture fashion, she was also on the forefront as an industry leader. Along with her mother, who was a fashion stylist, Lana went on to establish her own de facto modeling school and promotion. As a choreographer and mentor to up-and-coming talent, she taught girls how to properly pose and move on the runway, Together, the mother-daughter duo directed countless fashion shows and enjoyed much success and fame in the process.
Next up in her career was becoming a model for the Russian mobile telecommunications company GSM. After her modeling work with this company, she performed her first acting role in an American action-adventure feature film called Arena, which was filmed in Russia.
Lana then moved to Italy to advance her career as a lead model for various women’s clothing companies. She became an official model for Toyota Panasonic, representing the team for several years at the Formula 1 annual races. Lana was also performing alongside many famous Italian actors such as Elisabetta Canalis, Ambra Angiolini, Diego Abatantuono, Luca di Paolo, Marco Maccarini, and Piero Chiambretti in several TV shows, sitcoms, and TV commercials. She did so on important TV channels such as MTV, RAI 1, RAI 2, and Mediaset. Other avenues in which Lana worked during her time in Italy were charity events. These were another source of participation for Lana, both as a presenter and guest. Among one of the biggest charity events she was involved in was the Amfar Gala at the Cannes Film Festival.
Shortly after, she appeared in an award-winning Golden Lion studio movie directed by Sofia Coppola named Somewhere starring Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning. Her appearance in this movie launched her career significantly, ultimately landing her in the United States in 2012.
Lana's next move was starring in a spec commercial for Bud Light beer shoot in Los Angeles, USA. She then performed in a feature horror movie called Face of Evil, and then in a drama movie entitled The Tragedy of a Mother and Son. Lana was also the lead actress in a live theater performance in Hollywood, California called Zombies Rule. She attended the screening event for the movie Bad Grandpa at the Playboy Mansion where she appeared on TV discussing the movie with Johnny Knoxville. Lana was also a participant in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest Single Model Photoshoot. As a model, she also traveled to Madrid, Spain, where she worked in feet modeling.
Today, Lana is currently co-producing the comedy/drama studio movie by Lions Gate called The Tailor (http://www.TheTailorMovie.net). She will also be starring in the film as the lead actress alongside several famous American actors such as Joe Mantegna and Paul Sorvino. The producers for this film are John Foster of Odyssey Pictures Corporation, Jeff Rice, and Kurt MacCarley. Shooting is taking place internationally, both in Italy and the United States.
Additionally, Lana is also part of an American/Chinese project called American Dream TV where she will be not only the lead host, but also the lead model for the commercials that will be associated with this project in China.
Lana’s career has taken her all across the world as she has attended many special red carpet events such as the Venice, Cannes, Berlin, Rome, Tribeca, and New York film festivals, and the LA Comedy Awards.
Besides her endeavors in the worlds of modeling and entertainment, Lana has taken up several entrepreneurial challenges as well. As a naturally shrewd business woman with great communication skills, the array of ventures she's partaken in has been very vast in deed. Such undertakings have ranged from the involvement in international development projects between the counties of Poland, England, France, Monte Carlo, China, and the USA, to the selling of high-end paintings by iconic artists the likes of Pablo Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Leonardo da Vinci.

Out of every one of Lana's many enterprises, founding her very own coffee company has undoubtedly been the one she's taken on with the most passion and is most personally proud of.
