I understand my art to be couched in the unexpected that germinates from within systems. I am interested in scientific and experimental linguistic theories such as probability and anagrams. These have given my work, across its various subjects, structures on which to build the possibility of excess. From such structures I open my visual form to the senses, to dreams and to automatic writing. In other words, my work begins with structure but is always searching for a sensorial immersion. And if my works approach many subjects it is because I am interested in the potentials of this dance between structure and the unexpected, between the chord and the fugitive note.
