Tameka LaSay Anderson

Tameka Anderson began writing and performing at a young age. Her love of the performing arts continues today, as a published author, playwright, and producer – and now director of Create It Kids Club. Combining her passion for theatre and for children, Tameka started Create It Kids Club to help youth create confidence through creativity and the performing arts. One of the most innovative women in her field, Tameka has been featured in magazines like Redbook, Flahimamy, and is also a parenting expert for Huffington Post and eHow. Tameka also serves as a volunteer child advocate for youth in the foster care system (she grew up in a foster home). She has also started a non-profit for single parents called God’s Angel for Single Parents (GASP) Ministries Inc. and holds an affiliate member seat on the Governor’s Office of Children and Families Task Force Team.
