About Step

Step Rowe is an actress, acting coach and writer/director, known for Tedesky (2014), Angel Dog, Stage V and the Adventures of Pepper and Paula. Step is one of the most highly respected and recommended acting coaches in central Texas. She has studio locations in downtown Austin and in the hill country (central to New Braunfels, San Marcos, San Antonio, Gruene, Canyon Lake, Dripping Springs and Wimberley). Step's uniquely personal teaching style guides film actors into moving and authentic performances. Former students include Dora Madison (CHICAGO FIRE, DEXTER, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, etc) and Emmy Winner Chad Brannon (GENERAL HOSPITAL), as well as artist Mike Eli of the Eli Young band, Broadcaster Sonia Azad of ABC and many more. She is constantly on the look out for quality opportunities for her students and herself. She has produced, directed, written and edited feature films, short films, PSAs, documentaries and online commercials.
