I am a 2012 Production Design graduate of the UK National Film and Television School. I have designed a number of award-winning films such as "Morning" (Winner at the Irish Film and Television Awards (BIFTA), "Z1" (BIFA winner for Best Short Film, Locarno International Film Festival), the stop motion animation "Miss Todd" (Student Academy Award 2013 Winner), which gave me the opportunity to design and build miniature 3d environments and made me earn a few prizes for Best achievement in art in various Film Festivals.
Since I graduated, I’ve been working in the art department of big studio films such as "Cinderella" (Disney), designed by Dante Ferretti at Pinewood Studios, "Everest", "Beauty & the Beast" (Disney), "The Jungle Book: Origins" (Warner Brothers), directed by Andy Serkis or Marvel's "Dr. Strange", starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
I now feel like I’ve gained enough experience to put myself forward as a designer, helping to visualise identity and narrative through still and moving image in commercials, music videos and narrative pieces.
I have a really hands on approach and I consider myself a highly creative and resourceful professional. My attention to detail drives a visual competence in composition, set building and dressing as well as a meaningful use of colour. I feel I thrive in the collaborative environment of the film set and I can combine a technical and creative approach to storytelling, producing powerful images to complement both the brief and the director’s vision.
I enjoy any opportunity to create imagery that supplements a story or idea, and will continue to push to get the opportunity to work with highly creative professionals.

Film (short) by Frances Poletti (Crime, Drama, Fantasy and Thriller) Production designer WOODLAND is an exploration of non-linear film making, memory and fantasy are given just as much importance and immediacy as the present. As a young girl comes to terms with a trauma she has suffered, concepts of time are stretched, subverted and destabilised. Through the absence of dialogue, both naturalistic and non-naturalistic sounds are heightened by the sense of place, time, mood and the way in which the story is told. Similarly the camera moves fluidly between subjective and objective stances. The viewer travels through a familiar and yet indistinguishable world where the lines between memory, fantasy and reality converge.
