About Jea

Jeanette Santos is a Bronx, New York native, who's an author and screenwriter of bold family dramas and realist crimes. Jeanette has a deep passion for addressing relationships and real-life struggles. Her first book, “The Mirror Dairy” is an autobiography of her struggles throughout life and how she’s persevered them. She’s currently working on her first novel called “Dying Alive” about a registered nurse who finds out that the life she’s currently living is her second and goes in search for her past and those responsible for taking it away from her.

Besides writing books, Jeanette enjoys writing screenplays and is also a cinematographer and a film director. Her Screenplay “Signs” was her very first script in which she developed into a short film in November 2017, based on a silent case of domestic violence, and has worked on other scripts since then. Jeanette is also one of the hosts of a YouTube vlog named “Mom Lives Matter”, where she and her best friend share her and discuss different topics about the ups and downs of motherhood.

Santos has a BACHELOR OF SCIENCE in DIGITAL CINEMATOGRAPHY, and a MASTER OF FINE ARTS in CREATIVE WRITING from Full Sail University.
