I am an independent filmmaker living in London.
I began my filmmaking career in 2009 as the scriptwriter and co-producer of the short film L'Ultima Opera. I am now a producer and director at the video production company Camerafreelance UK, however, I also manage my own artistic productions under Beware of the Dog Films.
I graduated in 2008 with an MSc in Architectural Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin. During this time I also worked professionally in the Italian comedy circuit (2005 to 2010) as a writer and performer of live shows, stand-up, theatre, national broadcast TV and live improv. In 2004 I won the VII edition of the comedy contest Comunque Anomali in Turin (Italy), and in 2006 was part of the cast of the TV show "Saturday Night Live from Milano", the Italian version of the most popular comedy show in the US.
I have a true passion for comedy and independent film.
My influences include Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, the Marx Brothers, Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith, Emir Kusturica, Taika Waititi, Jean Pier Jeunet, Chris Nolan and Darren Aronofsky.

1 Way Up: The Story of Peckham BMX
Film by Amy Mathieson (Documentary, Animation, Action, Music and 1 More) Camera and Electrical Department 1 Way Up in 3D is the story of the Peckham BMX Club and two teens on the road to the BMX World Championships. They hope to escape one of the toughest gang neighborhoods in London with the only thing they have - a bike. Defying all odds, they race to the top of the BMX ranks and off the streets. The film challenges stereotypes of youth born into poverty and proves it's not about where you're from but where you're heading that defines one's character. Written by Anonymous
