When hardened Sheriff's retirement plan is short lived , because a young woman is killed. Sheriff Hang 'Em goes rampant and also finds love.


Bill Daly is a renowned Sheriff in 1873 post civil war era. He is highly skilled at his trade; HANGINGS. He has a reason. He was orphaned as a child and taken in by a lawman. So he saw his share of hangings at a young age. Fed up with it all, Bill plans to retire when a 16 yr. old kid (Jake) is sentenced to hang. A wild band tries to hang the kid prematurely, Bill stops them.

On his final assignment; the transfer of a Federal Prisoner. A band of killers (Haas Gang) try to free the the prisoner and fail, but they do kill a young woman (Georgia) in cold blood. Bill and Georgia's sister (Deloise) eyes meet for the first time. Bill vows to Deloise to bring the killers to justice and begins to do so, one by one. On each of Bill's returns to town, he and Deloise fall deeper in love. Searching for the last of the killers turns up buried TREASURE. But Bill is captured by the gang, and they plan to hang him. He escapes to bring the leader and last of the Haas Gang (Charlie) to justice.

Charlie and the rest of the gang are all now sentenced to hang. The town awaits a Five Man Hanging, but Bill and Deloise have a change of heart, and don't stay for the hanging. They leave town with plans to marry. Along the way Bill stops and picks up the buried TREASURE. Deloise pins his badge on a old hanging rope and tosses it away. They ride off rich and happily ever after.
