About Kayreth

Kayreth Williams is a Jamaican born, American raised, Brooklynite who dreams of a world where the Golden Girls, A Different World and McLeod’s Daughters plays on an endless loop; the popcorn button on the microwave actually worked and that all towns were seaside much like the one in Murder, She Wrote (sans the murders).

Kayreth Williams, an avid TV watcher and writer and one-time marathoner, is a graduate of Hunter College in New York, majoring in English. She is also a semi-finalist in the 2015 Disney/ ABC Writing Program, a member of the Disney/ ABC Writers’ Assistant Breakage Program, as well as a 2009 semi-finalist in the Nickelodeon Writing Program. Her passion for writing, humor and storytelling outweighs her love of all things sweet and cuddly.

In her spare time, Kayreth likes to engage in non-contact sports such as table hockey, while watching contact sports such as ice hockey (Go Kings!). She also spends time people watching, reading about the new diet craze, attempting the new diet craze, then quickly falling off the diet bandwagon with no desire to get back on. She also loves to Zumba.

Currently, Kayreth Williams lives in Los Angeles and is working on another spec pilot that is very close to her heart. She is also the primary caregiver of her betta fish, Dorian Idris Fassbender Jolie-Pitt Williams. He is probably the closest thing Kayreth’s beloved mother will ever have to a grandchild.
