A weird witch tests a man in a weird world.

SYNOPSIS:

Aurelian Quartgelia is a very kind man who likes books, nature, and animals. Once, spending a weekend in the mountains, he follows a rat that leads him to a cave. Aurelian peers inside and turns out to be in a weird jail of another reality, where different epochs are mixed up. There, he meets a whole range of archetypal characters, like an inquisitor, an executioner, a stewardess, a ballerina and so on. His adventures hardly can be called pleasant, but what someone else would regard as troubles, he finds curious and amusing. However, he encounters a real challenge for himself: the witch, Indra Maren. She is different. She belongs to both worlds simultaneously: Wonderland and Realland, as she calls them. She is cruel, cunning, and treacherous. And she is a woman, able to subdue any man. Of course, she also has certain weaknesses, but there are no ways for Aurelian to use them for his benefit.
