Stephanie Lenore Kuehn's critically acclaimed play Final Angel was originally read at the Actor's Studio in New York and premiered in Chicago. It received three After Dark Awards including Outstanding New Work, Best Directing and Best Ensemble.
Ms. Kuehn is a New Mexico playwright whose most recent work Starry Night was presented at the National Dance Institute in May 2013. Her play The Good, Bad and Truly Annoying opened in 2012 at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque.
Belong to Me was produced for the Writer's Stage by Emmy Award-Winning Producer Digby Wolfe. Clarissa's Dance opened the Southwest Theater Festival at the Pope Joy Theater. Eleventh Night of Christmas was produced by the University of New Mexico in affiliation with the Santa Fe Opera. Numerous additional works were written and produced in conjunction with students in Chicago, Il. and Albuquerque, NM schools as an artist-in-residence and a creative arts teacher.
Ms. Kuehn holds a Bachelors degree in Theater Arts from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters degree in Playwriting from the University of New Mexico.
