About Allan

Allan Marcil launched his film and television career in the graduate film program at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts after earning a BA in English from the University of Rochester. Subsequently, he developed a producing and writing career in both film and television, where he has produced, executive-produced, and created over 100 hours of television, including Emmy and Golden Globe nominated productions. He is a member of The Writer’s Guild of America and remains active as a writer while teaching Screenwriting for film and tv at Flagler, along with other courses in the English and Communication Departments of Flagler College. His most recent script, GO HOME, adapted from the celebrated novel with the novel's author recently was awarded the following:
