SAINTS AND SINNERS
By Delaney Carpenter

GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

A detective who specializes in debunking religious phenomena and a police investigator find themselves involved in one of the oldest strategies of the devil and must work together to prevent the completion of the plan.

SYNOPSIS:

It’s not inaccurate to say that many myths and tall-tales have their origins in fact and truth. It is also not inaccurate to say that many such myths can be found in religions such as Christianity and Catholicism, the latter being a religion that accepts quite readily myths in the forms of miracles. For one such person, investigating and often times, disproving these so-called miracles, is her livelihood. When working on one such case, our investigator comes face-to-face with more than just a myth and an old enemy she has confronted before.

Separated from his wife and decidedly lacking any form of faith, a detective in the police force stumbles upon a crime that is not one that he has had to investigate before. Science is not answering any of his questions and the more he investigates the more confusing and convoluted the crime becomes.

Two investigators investigating two separate cases become entwined in a mystery of mythical and religious proportions. One having turned her back on God and the other a devout atheist, the two must work together, put aside their beliefs and face the fact of the implausible before their eyes.
