From Klimt To Kubrick
Kasper Kavalaris began his journey into the world of filmmaking in an unlikely place, studying classical painting under a master in Italy.
Once skilled in crafting a story using only a single image, he naturally transitioned into the world of graphic novels, essentially a series paintings governed by a script.
From there he made his final move toward film with a transition into storyboard work while he took his script writing technique to the next level.
A connecting thread throughout this journey has been Kasper’s deep immersion in the worlds of film, literature, philosophy, and dream analysis, resulting in a style equally rich in the subtle visual realm as in the literary and archetypal.
Kasper is currently working on four feature-length screenplay projects: A crime noir starring a female antihero, a big budget sci-fi with a female lead, a near future sci-fi, and an absurdist comedy.
He is also working on three short film projects which he plans to produce in the coming year.
