GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Drama
LOGLINE:

A grieving neuroscientist who used her own experimental technology to erase the memory of her husband after their son’s drowning begins seeing him again inside fractured reflections and corrupted memories — forcing her to confront the truth she buried to survive.

SYNOPSIS:

REPLAY is a prestige psychological sci-fi thriller centered on Dr. Elena Vale, a brilliant neuroscientist who pioneers a revolutionary memory-reconstruction technology capable of allowing patients to relive and examine traumatic memories with unprecedented clarity. As her company races toward a billion-dollar launch, Elena begins experiencing terrifying anomalies inside the sessions — memories changing themselves, reflections behaving independently, and the repeated appearance of a mysterious man she cannot identify. Her investigation leads to a devastating truth: after the drowning death of her young son, Elena used her own experimental technology to systematically erase memories of her husband Adrian in order to survive her grief and continue her work.

As Elena descends deeper into corrupted memories and fractured realities, she reconnects with Adrian, who has spent years watching the woman he loved slowly erase their life together. But the deeper Elena pushes into the architecture of memory, the more dangerous the technology becomes, revealing that human memory may not simply record the past — it may actively rewrite identity itself. Blending the emotional intimacy of a tragic love story with the cerebral tension of an elevated sci-fi mystery, REPLAY explores grief, self-deception, and the terrifying cost of editing pain from the human mind.
