I was cast into a role in June, so now I am just waiting for my filming dates to come up.

I have not posted in a while, so I will give everyone a quick update. I auditioned in May for a role in Katherine Petersdorf's web series"The arched Wing Series."

Hello all, I am not sure if I introduced myself earlier or not. My name ois James "Jimmy Joe" Boone, and I m 53 years old, and living in Missoula, MT. I do not really have any acting experience, other than a few classes in college, but have always wanted to give it a shot. My interest begin like 5 years ago or so, when progressive insurance was looking for an assistant for Flo. I have always been told I am funny, and should have had a career in comedy, so I will see what happens in this area. I am passionate about music, and if given an opportunity, I would really love to either write, or somehow participate in a musical like "Mama Mia, or other productions, based on Abba.

I have aa passion for music and film, and am really interested in writing a screenplay, or theater production called "The Dancing Queen", sinceI am a big Abba fan, and loved "Mama Mia."

So what do you guys think is the best way to find a job in acting? Of course there's coaches and classes you can take, experiences you should have, but where should you go? What people should you meet? How would you meet them? What studios or agencies are most likely to recruit newbies? I'm asking all these questions for the ones who think they are good enough and want to try their hand. I hope this can be an open discussion because I know there isn't one true right answer.
