Paulius Juoceris

Paulius started film management studies in “Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy”, later extended studies in “University for Creative Arts”, in Great Britain, where he acquired film production (producing) bachelor’s degree. While studying Paulius as a producer twice participated in “SUMMER MEDIA STUDIO 2008, 2009″ International film workshop. After graduation Paulius started working as a freelancer and established film company PI. Ironcat. Lately Paulius was selected to participate in EMERGING PRODUCERS, BERLINALE TALENTS and MAIA workshops.
Some of his most established work in film field as a producer: In 2011 in Lithuania Paulius initiated and successfully produced the film “BOOK SMUGGLER”. It was premiered at the biggest international film festival in Lithuania “Kino Pavasaris 2011” where it won “The Best Film of The Year Award” by public vote. The film also was nominated for the national Lithuanian cinema awards “Sidabrinės Gervės” for musical composition. As well the project initiated the birth of PI. Ironcat.
In 2013 PI. Ironcat produced its first feature length documentary with an established Lithuanian director Vytautas. V. Landsbergis “TRISPALVIS”. Film received an award “for achievements in documentary storytelling” by “Filmmakers union of Lithuania” also received mention of honour and a medallion from Vth International Historical And Military Film Festival, Poland, was nominated for the national Lithuanian cinema awards “Silver crane” for best documentary of the year.
