About Marcus

Aspiring screenwriter. I love horror, sci-fi and action, heck I love most all types of movies. I am the father of a great 10 year old girl who is starting to love movies and movie making as much as me! I got my first taste of movies when my father, a film producer, took me to see the original Friday the 13th at the age of 6. After that it was, The Entity, The Empire Strikes Back and even Gandhi. On my weekends with him, I would read through the stacks of screenplays he always had in the closet of his home office. Here I learned how to format scripts, along with many swear words! So far, I have had one screenplay produced and released independently on DVD, Pursuit of a Legend. It was a collaboration with my brother. There was no budget, a great cast and crew, and a grueling week in the snow packed woods of the midwest; it was the best time ever.

I am also an introvert trying to breath out of my shell just enough to start networking with people and pitching projects face to face.
