SYNOPSIS:

In the half-hour children’s TV series (whether animated, puppets or actors) ‘THE ANIMAL PAL SHOW’ pilot script, a Game Warden hosts a quiz show for animals with one male and three females from different species to find out their compatibility with video clips of the animals in their natural environment.

LARRY LIZARD, the green, mean, insect-sucking machine, anxiously waits to meet the three female creature contestants and find out their suitability.

GRETA GRASSHOPPER, tall, thin, and angular -- the model-type of the green insect world becomes nervous that she isn’t picked as a quick meal instead of a date.

PAM PIG, soft, pink and fuzzy; a big girl who loves to party can’t wait to start grooving with this male crooner.

RHODA RAVEN, dark, shiny and mysterious feathered female is another lady with a voice.

LARRY LIZARD asks the three misses about their interest in physical activities, things they like to eat, what sounds they make, and their body covering and colour.

GAME WARDEN narrates about each animal as video clips show the animal in its natural environment in visual detail to explain the answers to the quiz show questions.

At the end, LARRY LIZARD decides between GRETA GRASSHOPPER, PAM PIG, and RHODA RAVEN to go out on an adventure.

The two animals that went on their activity together would come back at a later time and explain why or why not the activity worked out to their mutual satisfaction.

A consultant from a Zoo / Museum would verify the information about the animals.

This series is aimed at 4 - 8 year old children as a fun way to learn about animals and how they relate to each other.

The original concept was to have actors in the roles but puppets or animation could be substituted depending on the budget.
