In 2012 I heard a story that I just couldn't get out of my head. In 2014 I traveled to Kampala, Uganda, with a small team to make a documentary. You can see photos of our journey and the trailer for "A Vision of Destiny" here:

My head is full of ideas . . . at the top of this list is an idea for a film festival with a social justice focus. What makes this particular film festival unique is its emphasis on finding solutions rather than just highlighting a problem. I would love to find folks to collaborate with, because I think this could be a really big idea, one that could spark a wave of creativity as people of all ages and experiences create both small and large films that feature problems in their own hometown and the possibilities for solving them. Let's brainstorm!
