(script co-written with Christina Raia) In an industry built to exclude them, filmmakers Asha and Jo channel their frustrations with their stagnant careers into investigating a peer who they suspect murdered his wife for his own professional advancement.

SYNOPSIS:

Breaking In is the story of two women disturbed by the social feed of a peer- on a professional and personal level- and the lengths they go to validate the assumptions made from it. It’s about how they derive self esteem from comparing their lives with others and each other, and it’s also the literal tool they use for their investigation on multiple levels. Asha and Jo are so consumed with their feeds, with feeling like they have to be constantly available for opportunities, that they not only ignore critical clues in the crime they’re ostensibly solving but also their own lives and relationships outside of their careers and their misguided mystery.
