After receiving her BA from Harvard University in 2008, Marielle moved west from New Jersey and has been working as a producer and director in Los Angeles for the past three years. She has produced numerous acclaimed television specials and series for networks including Animal Planet, the Discovery Channel, Spike TV, and the Travel Channel and has worked extensively across the globe, from Los Angeles to Hawaii, Montana, Tennessee, Florida, the Bahamas, and South Africa. She also knows most of the working animals in Hollywood on a first name basis.
Marielle’s thesis film, Bound to Me (2008), received Magna Cum Laude honors and garnered her a reputation for strong storytelling and passionate ambition. Her new project, a self produced short film, will be shot in Puerto Rico and involves, amongst other things, a remote jungle location and an awesome car flip.
Marielle aspires to direct action films with hard hitting scripts, and would not be opposed to working on the next Bourne film should the offer come in. She'll make herself available.
