A native of Bavaria, Germany, Janina has worked in the film and television industry for over ten years. One of her first professional gigs was as a PA on the set of the film The Dark Knight. Since then she has directed and edited narrative shorts as well as commercials for clients such as Clinique, Tampax, TiVo and Zumba. Janina recently edited the powerful spoken word short film Untamed Tongue. Currently she is cutting her first feature film, the WWII action movie Wolf Hound. She is also an active Youtube creator and produces weekly travel videos for her growing channel The Gone Gurl.
Janina lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their dog, Buffy.

Katherine now must follow through and catch a rooster, kill it, and serve it all in time for supper.
