An emotionally closed off vocal student must learn to love again and write an uplifting love song, or risk losing her scholarship, her home, and the soulful rocker who loves her.
Corrine is an 18 year old songwriting student at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She struggles daily to write the classic love song, but a life without love is made harder by a ruthless song writing teacher and a selfish roommate.
After her roommate’s cousin arrives to crash in their tiny dorm room, Corrine wonders if she’ll ever be strong enough to love again.
After a misunderstanding, Corrine runs off to her nearby seaside home town to find her past before her. Coming to terms with her losses and mistakes, she returns to campus to learn that some love songs are real.
