A young waitress and four post graduate students are brought together at a mysterious university to battle dark forces and cosmic evil.

SYNOPSIS:

Teenaged Gwen witnesses the sudden vanishing of her older brother, a graduate student at the mysterious Miskatonic University.Years later, Gwen manages a pub near the school, trying to solve the riddle of her brother’s disappearance. Meanwhile, four young graduate students, with varying backgrounds and fields of study, are drawn to the university, encouraged by their advisors, themselves Miskatonic alumni.

One of the students, an archaeologist, has recently unearthed a cryptic tablet, whose revelation may bring disaster. The university’s chancellor is hell-bent on possessing the tablet for his own ends. His followers spy on the five young people and even resort to violence and murder to further the chancellor’s plans. Becoming acquainted, the group bands together to solve the murders, as Gwen privately pursues the mystery of her brother’s disappearance. As the students progress toward their academic goals, they and Gwen encounter the ancient forces and cosmic darkness bound to the university.
