Monica Shum

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I've been working in the talent industry for more than 12 years. Started out as a talent scout and unawarely developed a passion for the art of casting and talent directing for commercials, movies and recently, short stories. I’ve held auditions for clients like Dove who require a major search for women stories that are authentic, graceful and successful in their own terms. Together with Samson, I founded the talent agency, SaM Casting (Sun and Moon Casting) and am currently in the midst of managing selected Malaysian celebrity profiles who are eager to travel to other international markets in pursuit of furthering their acting career.
