For 15 years I was a TV news anchor and reporter. My very first job in television was working for a 24-hour nationwide news network called All News Channel that could be seen in 44 million homes.

A chunk of my TV news career was spent working as an entertainment reporter. For years I spent nearly every weekend in either New York or Los Angeles at Hollywood studio-sponsored junkets, seeing as yet unreleased films in private screening rooms, then interviewing the stars and directors of those films the next day.
