About Steve

Steve Bevilacqua has worked across genres, formats, platforms, and media to deliver content to wide audiences. He was an early adapter in the digital content space. His YouTube series TOTALLY RAD DANCES WITH DANCIN’ KIM went viral, garnering millions of views, and was used by the Go-Go’s on their world tour. He also wrote and directed the YouTube series UNREAL: THE AUDITIONS for Lifetime, which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Best Short Form Series.

Steve has written many genre films featuring giant crocodiles, Indonesian ghosts, and Vikings battling werewolves for the SyFy Channel, the Asylum, MD Media, and others. He wrote the animated feature WIMBLETOAD for Exodus Film Group and Executive Producer Serena Williams, and the pilot AMERICAN SPECTER for Larkin-Goldstein Productions. He also wrote and directed the independent feature film BIKEPATH. Steve has produced shows for IFC, VH-1, History Channel, TLC, and MTV. His series IFC’S ULTIMATE FILM FANATIC, was the network’s highest rated show and featured film icons such as Peter Fonda and Robert Evans.

Steve’s literary memoir, KAFKA AT THE BEACH: A Layman’s Handbook for Those Falsely Accused of Felonies, was an insider’s tour of America’s justice systems, from the criminal courts to the Judge Judy Show, and landed him as a guest on more than forty talk radio shows. He was a contributor to the Huffington Post, and his horror fiction has been published in DARK MOON DIGEST and TREMBLING WITH FEAR.

Steve is a longtime resident of Venice, California. He is originally from Philadelphia, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
