Erin Brown hails from Akron, OH and is a graduate of Malone University. Her work has taken her all over the United States and across the world with such clients as the United States Marine, the J. Walter Thompson ad agency, Interscope Records, Universal Label, Radio Disney, Belvedere Vodka, and Nestle.
In 2008, Erin became a director with the music video “Courage Is” by The Strange Familiar, which ABC Family picked up for broadcast nationwide. Her most recent music videos have been featured on MTVu and vh1.com, shooting indie artists to the front of public notice.
Erin's work on feature-length documentaries started in 2008 as editor for the motocross feature The Great Outdoors: The Destroyers, and continued the following year with The Great Outdoors: American Summer. Her directorial debut in 2011 was Intrepid: The Zac Sunderland Story, Part 2. The documentary profiled the youngest sailor to ever navigate solo around the world. She is currently filming Honeychild, a documentary about a former child prostitute's journey across America with her daughter as she recounts her struggle for survival in the 1970's sex trade.
Erin currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband and three wonderful cats.
