I am a Toronto based photographer specializing in headshots.
Growing up I have always had an attraction to electronics and technology.
I always liked to play with devices and disassemble them...In my elementary school I made videos and edited them for the school and always liked filming/photography and post processing. Of course this gave me a head start but it would never be considered at a serious level. I came to Canada in 2010 and growing in an american high school made the transition not so difficult. In those early days here in Canada my friend bought a DSLR and shipped it to my place for me to send it back home (Egypt) to him. Obviously I played with it LOL.
Since then I have started learning about photography and used to hangout in future shop at the display cameras section and played with them and learned a lot. Few months after and I bought my first DSLR and started shooting portraits for fun. I shot a variety of things in my beginning few months.. and then I learned about myself that If something doesn't talk back i don't want to work with it. This is when I decided to work with people and started with professional headshots for corporate clients. Then I started learning a lot about actor headshots. I started offering actor headshot services and fell in love with it. My philosophy is that expression in an image is everything. It really is an amazing feeling to get someone behind the camera and coach them...use psychology and get an authentic expression. I really get excited for every headshots session as if its my first! Every time a new adventure and a new lesson learned from the person I am shooting or about them. I love what I do and I think it grows my knowledge about people.
