My works:

I have studied painting and acting, but ended up working in a documentary film studio as an assistant camera operator. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with the legendary filmmakers Juris Podnieks, Andris Seleckis and Davis Simanis. Later on, I worked as an assistant on fiction films, quickly moving on to doing the filming mymself. Later on I attended the Latvian Academy of Culture and graduated with a degree in cinematography. I still continues to do a lot of filming, working with leading advertising and music video directors in Latvia, Lithuania and Russia. My bio is creating music videos for such high-profile groups as Mumi Troll, B2, Zemfira, Kasta and Brainstorm. Many of my shooted films and commercials have received awards. Alexey Mizgerev’s (Russia) film “Convoy” participated in the Panorama program at the Berlin Film Festival, while Aik Karapetian’s film “People Out There” was featured at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival.
Filme "The Gambler",
premiered last year in San Sebastian's Kutxa-New Directors section and has screened at more than 30 festivals wordwide, including in Marrakech last year in front of a jury that included Martin Scorsese, Marion Cotillard and Patricia Clarkson. Awards include a local prize and special jury mention in Warsaw.
Wide Management is repping the film internationally and has already sold it to Italy, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After that unnerving encounter, the house will no longer be a safe haven, becoming, instead, a twisted and dangerous trap haunted by menacing spirits.

Film (Drama and Thriller) Cinematographer Vincentas is the best employee at the emergency services station, whose passion is one - gambling in different games. Whenever he lands in some difficult situation, the medic is forced to grab onto something radical to return the money he is constantly losing. An idea strikes Vincentas to create an illegal game related to his profession. Initially the employees at emergency services are the only ones to be attracted to this macabre engagement. Soon enough, however, the idea kicks off and starts spreading like wildfire. The medic colleagues become betting agents, whereas Vincentas takes control of its bank. As financial matters keep on improving, a coworker Ieva starts objecting to the game. A passionate relationship has just unfolded between her and Vincentas. During a Friday morning assembly, they learn from their homeroom teacher that their classmate Elvis has been absent, without explanation, for a long time. Nils overhears two teachers saying that they are unable to reach Elvis or his mother - no one answers the phone and no one knows where they are. Nils senses that the grown-ups don't seem interested in finding out what has happened to Elvis. Nils, however, is very curious and gets some of his classmates to help investigate.
