About Julia

Julia builds costumes for stage productions. She is currently doing so as a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She should graduate May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Applied Theatre Technology and Design.
Julia spent her formative years in Greenfield, CA. Then her parents moved her to Delphi, IN for 12 years. She escaped to St. Louis for her first foray into higher education, studying Architecture for 2 1/2 years. She then moved to Denver metro area to full-time volunteer at Bridgeway Home for Pregnant Teens. What an education! She then decided that theatre could be a real job and transferred to Red Rocks Community College for Technical Theatre. There she met her future husband, Oscar J. Deutsch. They played Dungeons & Dragons and worked on a play together to get to know each other. After working 3 years at a grocery store that paid ok but broke her spirit, she decided to finish a bachelors degree from MSU Denver. And now you know her basic story.
