Executive Producer Ric Zivic is an Emmy award winning, Tony and Grammy nominated Producer and Composer who’s uniquely skilled at working across all forms of media including television, film, stage, advertising and music. Ric works closely with Networks, Syndicators and Advertisers and has developed Branding, Sponsor integration and Sales strategies for TV and Film projects. He’s skilled at finding fresh and exciting concepts, both scripted and unscripted, creating top quality presentation reels and “cut” sheets that articulate the concept in words and pictures. His expert packaging includes time buys, creative development, as well as financing and recruiting top talent.
Ric has been an Executive Producer on many TV, feature and Independent films, among them “Civil Unrest,” “The Garden,” and “Zoo” and is currently in production on a CGI feature film “The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t,” based on the classic Ogden Nash book. He acted as Executive Producer, for the critically acclaimed holiday film “The Christmas Secret,” starring Beau Bridges and Richard Thomas, which was the highest rated film on CBS for the year it premiered, and continues as a favorite Christmas classic on ABC Family, Hallmark and TMC. Ric was the Executive in charge of Production, Post and Music for the Hit TV Series “Overhaulin”, which airs on Discovery and Velocity and was the Executive Producer on the global Eco Documentary “Winds of Change”. He also Produced the popular series of TV specials “UFO’s and Aliens: The Search For the Truth,” and “The Human Canvas,” for TLC and the Discovery Network. Ric Produced and composed the score for the critically acclaimed Documentary “YF-23 Black Widow,” and Produced the PBS Masters’ Series specials “Danny Kaye, A Legacy of Laughter,” and “Bobby Darin, Beyond the Song”.
Ric was the Producer and Composer for the hit TV series “Bingo and Molly” which aired on TLC, and was nominated for a Grammy. The Series also received a Daytime Emmy and a Golden Eagle Award for Children’s programming. Ric has also produced for major record labels like, Universal, Polygram and Warner Brothers and has been nominated and received Clio and Ace Awards.
Ric is a Producer for the hit Broadway show “A Christmas Story: The Musical:, based on the Warner Brother’s classic film “A Christmas Story.” It has been nominated for 3 Tony Awards including, Best New Musical, Best Score and Best Book Based on a Musical. He also produced the critically acclaimed Play “A Queen For A Day”, featuring Sopranos stars David Proval and Vinnie (Big Pussy) Pastore and just finished a successful run at the St Clements Theater.

As an award winning music producer and musician, Ric landed a major record deal on Polydor Records in the ‘80s with a group called 3-D and, along with producer Ken Scott (David Bowie, Supertramp), proceeded to write, co-produce and record two critically-acclaimed albums and videos, launching the cult classic hit songs “X-Ray Eyes” and “All Night Television.” Ric and 3-D toured with major groups, such as The Cars, The J. Geils Band, Eddie Money and The Ramones. Ric also appeared on MTV’s Video Countdown, along with live performances on Saturday Night Live with musical co-host Paul McCartney and host Steve Martin.
