My name is April, and I am 17 years old. My love for acting started when I was just 7 years old. I auditioned and was cast for the lead children's role in "The Village Idiot" at The Port Stanley Festival Theatre. The following years I was cast in "Bake Off", "Shovel Tree", "Roadside Attractions", and "Dolphin Land". For my participation with my beloved theatre, I received an adult's Ontario Volunteer Service Award for my five years of dedication. My passion for the Performing Arts continued with a love of dance. I've studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary and Lyrical. My Lyrical solo won me a scholarship to Hollywood, CA where I danced and studied under professional choreographers, including Vincent Patterson. I attended a MakeUp Camp at CMU in Toronto where we studied Fashion MakeUp. In addition to acting, dance, and makeup artistry, I continue to study music. I play piano, violin, and I sing.
