About Jack

Jack is an award-winning playwright turned screenwriter. Through a long-time friend who's a successful screenwriter, his recent screenplay FOR ALLISON was passed on to powerhouse agency CAA who read the screenplay and invited Jack in for a meeting. As a result, he now has another TV pilot, SOONER under consideration there.

One of Jack's other scripts, FAULKNER WARE made it to a top tier of the prestigious Austin Film Festival. CHARLOTTE SOMETIMES made it to the quarter finals of the 2016 Big Break contest while SOONER made it to the semifinals.

Both FOR ALLISON and CHARLOTTE SOMETIMES have been optioned by Destiny Pictures. FOR ALLISON has attached 2 time Oscar nominated director Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy, Tender Mercies, Ladies in Black, Crimes of the Heart...)

Jack recently optioned the noir P.I. Max Thursday series from the estates of Wade Miller and is in early development stages for a TV series.

On the stage side, two of his plays were selected for the Fritz Blitz, a prestigious California festival. TERMINAL STASIS received rave reviews during its run and INCHOATE was equally lauded. He's currently at work on a real depresser; the logline is, "This will make 'A Long Day's Journey Into Night' look like 'Cats.'

Since a teenager, Jack has worked in the music business. Starting out in bands, he moved into the retail world and independent distribution. Upon moving to California in 1994, he worked as an independent sales rep for Rounder Records. He now co-owns, operates and records at Twinstar Studios outside of San Diego.

Jack lives with two psychotic mongrels next to an Indian reservation near San Diego, California.

Unique traits: I once ate 44 Reese's PB Cups after I finished my paper route. Dialogue is my forte' - the wittier, the better.
