Greetings, Film Friends
I'm here looking to make new connections with actors and other film professionals (FX, music, producers).
Little bit about me: I went to Pima for three years and studied digital arts, mostly film production. I made my first short film in 2007, a horror black-comedy called "Kiss Your Ass Good-bye". It was shot on 16mm black & white film. I got a few official selections, earning me an IMDB credit.
I'm currently in the middle of shooting my next short, a comedy titled "Bacon & Hamm". I'm planning on entering it in The Loft Film Festival in the fall of 2015. I will also post the short on YouTube upon completion.
Genres I love and will be working in: Horror, Sci-Fi, Action and Comedy.
I also have a particular love for most Crime/Noir/Gangster films from all eras. There's also a big place in my heart for 80's teen films.
My favorite directors in no particular order: Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, John Woo, Brian DePalma, Alfred Hitchcock, James Cameron, John Carpenter, Quentin Tarantino, Michael Mann, The Coen Brothers, John Hughes, Jean-Pierre Melville, Luc Besson, Francis Ford Coppola, Sergio Leone, Fritz Lang, John Landis.
I own most of my own filming gear (DSLR, audio, lights). I'm also an Adobe Creative Cloud member, so I have full access to Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Lightroom.
Looking to make new partnerships, associations and/or film friendships.
Unique traits: I love writing and working with actors (rehearsing, blocking, character development). I've also been doing time-lapses with my DSLR. Here's a link: https://vimeo.com/117997000
