Daniel Damiano

Daniel is a NY-based Actor, Award-Winning Playwright and VO Artist. As an Actor, he has played a wide variety of lead and character roles in various mediums, and has worked with a range of distinguished theatre companies, including Active Theatre Company, the WorkShop, Mind The Gap, Schoolhouse Theatre, Blue Heron, Fallen Angel, the New Group, the Pearl, Immigrants Theatre Project, among many others, and has received acclaim in Time Out NY, Backstage, , CurtainUp, among other publications. As a Playwright, Daniel has had plays produced throughout the U.S. as well as Sydney & Melbourne, Australia and London, England, and has thus far garnered the Christopher Brian Wolk Award (presented by Abingdon Theatre Company, NYC), an OOBR Critics Choice Award for Excellence, Grand Prize from Attic Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles and the 2009 Silver Stage Award from the Old Opera House Theatre Company in West Virginia. He was a 2-time Finalist for the Playwrights First Award (sponsored by the National Arts Club in NYC), and has been a Finalist for the Arts & Letters Prize, the Fulton Theatre Discovery Project Award, the Y.E.S. Festival of New Plays Award, among others. He is also Co-Founder/Artistic Director of fandango 4 Art House, a NYC-based theatre company focusing on new work.
