A Business Owner turned Movie Producer! I started my her career in the Biotech industry after graduating from UCSD. I have enjoyed working in Basic Science Research for 4 and 1/2 year before deciding to pursue her M.B.A. at the University of San Diego in 1997 while still working full-time as Research Associate. Upon completion of my M.B.A. in 2000, I transferred my analytical skills to the world of Finance where I worked as an Investment Analyst recommending stocks to Portfolio Managers. In 2002, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to launch JSM BodyWork, Inc. and was the 1st to introduced 'Therapeutic Thai Massage' to the San Diego market. As CEO, I defied all odds and successfully obtained work visa for skilled massage therapists from Thailand, as part of my strategy to keep the authenticity of the Thai Massage modality. I managed & operated the business until 2013 when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a movie producer. I handed the Thai Massage business operation to one of my loyal employee to continue running my business, as I pursue my passion in Filmmaking.

Under the mentorship of Independent Film Producer, Aimee Schoof, I learned the art of creative development & financing, pre-production planning to filming, post-production & editing, and marketing the films at films festivals. Now, I am ready to take the next challenge in breaking into a new industry again...to fulfill my life-long passion in Filmmaking!
