Deborah Richards

I am a writer / director / cinematographer / editor / colorist and VFX artist from Las Vegas. In 2014, while in film school, I won four South West production Emmys in the student category for a sci-fi short - Boy Meets Girl.

In 2022 the prestigious NV Woman’s Film Festival selected me Nevada Woman Filmmaker of the Year, and in 2023 my first independent feature as a writer/director/DP and editor, Move Me No Mountain was released through Indie Rights on Amazon Prime, and Tubi.  Our film proudly received the ReFrame Stamp for Gender Parity from Women in Film LA and IMDb.

My second independent feature (a documentary - Shaken & Stirred: the History of Flair Bartending) is currently in post production. It is the first feature length documentary about the underground world of Flair Bartending and was filmed over a year in Las Vegas, LA and Miami.
