Ken Beale

Based in Nashville, TN (Franklin), Ken Beale is a seasoned independent filmmaker and serves as president of SailWind Pictures / SailWind, Inc., film production company and strategic marketing communications firm. With more than 30 years experience as a filmmaker and marketing communications professional Beale has developed marketing programs for market-leader companies and multi-national clients.

Throughout his career Beale has produced numerous corporate and marketing films serving such national and international clients as Lockheed Martin, Champion Aviation Products, Michelin, Ford, Toro Irrigation Division, Maxfli Golf, Ryobi, Uniroyal/Goodrich, Lanier Worldwide, General Nutrition Products, VELUX and the State of South Carolina.

Beale recently released the feature-length television documentary entitled "The Sereer: Desperately Trying to Please God," which explores the culture, lifestyle and beliefs of the people of the Sereer tribe in Senegal, West Africa. The film was honored with more than 30 motion-picture industry awards, including the coveted Best Picture award at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards. He also recently produced "Leo Twiggs - Requiem for Mother Emanuel," a short tribute film on the artist’s series of paintings on the massacre at Emanuel AME Church and the grace shown by the church in the aftermath of the shooting.

Beale served as Co-Producer on "The World We Make", a dramatic feature coming soon. is currently involved in three new film projects. He is producing "Everything Happens At Once," a dramatic, sci-fi comedy feature film currently in post-production, and he is co-producing "Christ Village," a documentary feature film showcasing the work of Christ among India’s Untouchables.
