SYNOPSIS:
GREG is a jingle composer who is desperate to impress his girlfriend, AMBER, on Valentine's day. He arranges for his pal, TOM, to borrow KEVIN a Komodo Dragon from the zoo where he works. We open to the unfurling disaster. The Dragon has already wolfed down Greg's cat, he and Tom have bundled it into the boot of his car, but Tom is badly bitten. Tom has to go and seek medical treatment, leaving Greg to explain the situation to Amber. Amber is nonplussed that Greg took an offhand comment about wanting to be the 'mother of dragons' somewhat literally, but agrees to help return Kevin to the zoo. They attempt this at night, successfully driving into the Komodo pen, only for Greg's boot (trunk) to stick shut. He volunteers to climb out of the sunroof and open it, falling over the back of the car in the process. Once safely back inside, the car flat out refuses to start. After a brief heated discussion they run for it, arriving at the pen gates only to learn they've left the keys in the car. Greg sprints back for it, and Amber thinks she's lost him to the Dragons. However the car fires up and Greg returns to the gate triumphantly. All is forgiven, Amber offers him hope of a better Valentine next year, but as they leave the zoo we discover they may have taken home more than they bargained for.
