About Andy

Andy Edwards an award-winning writer and director specialising in high-concept, genre-based projects. His first full feature as writer/director was the zombie-comedy, Ibiza Undead.

Ibiza Undead premiered at Frightfest (the UK’s biggest horror festival) in 2016, and has screened around the world, including at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia. It was sold around the world and in the US received a limited theatrical release in late 2017, under its US title of Zombie Spring Breakers.

Summer 2022 saw the release of his next feature as writer/director, and his first full feature as producer, the thriller Graphic Desires. Additionally, a feature he co-wrote, The Ghosts Of Monday, (starring Julian Sands). and horror anthology Midnight Peepshow (in which Andy wrote & directed a section) also premiered at Frightfest 2022.
