CJ Johnson

A natural storyteller, CJ Johnson draws from his experiences in the entertainment industry, as a Division-I college football player, and as a US Marine Lance Corporal to bring stories to life in film, television, and online content. CJ earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies at the University of Utah. An accredited screenwriter, he studied late-night talk shows, TV, stage, and sketch comedy writing at Second City Hollywood under Emmy winner Holly Wortell and Rebeka Slepski. CJ studied Comedy and Drama Writing for TV under Brett Paesel and Nathan Varni at Writing Pad LA. He is a graduate of the New York Film Academy Directing for Film & Television and Producing for Film & Television programs. CJ played football at the University of Utah and served three years in the US Marine Corps. He is an avid martial arts practitioner, specializing in Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, and Muay Thai.
